This weekend saw the third training and gathering of the Rotary Youth Exchange programme, with no fewer than 99 people taking part:
OUTBOUND CANDIDATES - INBOUNDS - REBOUNDS - ROTEX - YEOS - DISTRICT COMMITTEE - MULTIDISTRICT PRESIDENT
From Rotary Club Tenerife Sur we attended with a delegation of 5 candidates who will surely begin their exchange experience this coming summer. Our thanks to Mariví Gracia and her entire committee for the excellent work they do. We extend this to all the fellow Rotarians who have contributed to these new training sessions, especially our District 2201 Governor Luis Gomez-Ojero who attended with his wife and daughters.
In the hands of our young people we place much of our hope for a better and peaceful world. That is why at Rotary we have been promoting this cultural and social exchange project for decades, which lays the foundations for the lives of tens of thousands of young people around the world, foundations that will help build an ever fairer society.
