Letter from the President

Reflecting on the fundamental values we share as Rotarians, I find a deep sense of purpose and unity. Values such as service, integrity, diversity and fellowship are the pillars that support our mission and unite us as a Rotary family.

The motto of this Rotary year is Create hope in the world.

In line with this inspiring motto, as President of this club, my main goal will be, above all, to give continuity to the magnificent work carried out so far.

Rotary Club Tenerife Sur has made a significant impact on the community through a wide range of valuable projects. We have provided crucial support to early childhood education, fought tirelessly against polio, raised awareness of the fight against cancer, promoted the integration of refugees, supported families in economic difficulty caused by the pandemic, among many other projects.

So I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure that these projects continue to thrive and bring about positive change in the lives of the people we serve, and thus continue to create hope.

In addition, I want to further encourage the social side of our friendship and fellowship. Rotary Club is not only about working together on projects, but also about building lasting and meaningful bonds. It is about fostering human connection and cultivating sincere friendships.

It is through fellowship that we share experiences, knowledge and values, strengthening the bonds between us, and at the same time creating an even more welcoming environment for new members, so that we can continue to grow as a club and continue to serve the community with ever greater effectiveness and commitment.

Our success depends on our collaboration and collective commitment, and in this new term, I wish to count on the active participation of everyone.
