Yesterday Monday we had a weekly meeting full of good news. Our president Carmen Nieves brought us up to date on the most important events. We were also visited by Katerina, president of our Rotaract Tenerife Sur club, accompanied by some of her team, who explained the different projects they are working on. We were also visited by ANNAMARIA, our newly arrived exchange student, together with her host family. She gave us an impressive presentation and conveyed with her enthusiasm and happiness the importance of this International Youth Exchange project; perhaps the most significant cultural exchange and peace-building project that Rotary carries out. Hugo Ise also gave us details about the scholarship holder our club has sponsored at the ULL, who will soon visit us too.
